Claire Raines

Claire Raines...considered one of the leading experts in the world on generations and the impact on the workplace of the four American generations: the Veterans, the Boomers, the Xers, and the Millenials.

Claire has published three ground breaking works which detail the conflicts between generations and the resulting problems caused and solutions enacted.

Her first book, Twenty-Something: Managing & Motivating Today's New Work Force (co-authored with Lawrence Bradford, 1992), was voted "one of the thirty best business books of 1992" by Soundview Executive Book Summaries. Her next title, Beyond Generation X (1997), was a practical guide with tips for managers on how to narrow the gap at work.

Claire Raines

Her latest, Generations at Work (co-authored with Ron Zemke and Bob Filipczak, 2000), explains for the first time why the clashes between the four generations of workers are inevitable but not irreversible.

Topics:
1. Generations At Work: Building Bridges Across Generations
2. The X Factor: Managing and Motivating Today's New Workforce
3. The Boomers and The Xers: From Adversaries to Allies
4. Generation Next: Getting Ready for the New Wave of Workers
